1. Product Features

75Fe iron additive is a flux-type or aluminum-type block product with a iron content of about 75%. It is used to add iron elements to aluminum alloys, improving demolding performance and increasing strength, but it can reduce corrosion resistance.

II. Applicable Scenarios

It is suitable for supplementing iron in die-casting aluminum alloys (such as ADC12, A380) or other aluminum alloys when iron content is insufficient, to prevent mold sticking.

IV. Dosage

Additive dosage (kg) = weight of aluminum liquid (kg) × (target iron% - original iron%) ÷ 75%. The conventional addition amount is 0.1% to 0.8% of the aluminum liquid mass. The calculation should consider the actual absorption rate, which is generally between 90-98%, and is subject to factors such as aluminum liquid temperature, absorption time, and stirring intensity.

IV. Usage

The temperature of the aluminum liquid is 720℃～750℃. After skimming off the slag, add the iron additive to the bottom of the aluminum liquid. Stir and dissolve for 15～30 minutes.

After allowing it to sit and scrape off the slag, samples are taken for analysis.

V. Precautions

Excessive iron content can reduce plasticity and corrosion resistance, so it must be strictly controlled; store in a moisture-proof environment.
