Instructions for use: Aluminum and aluminum alloys can be directly added to the furnace or holding furnace before refining. In order to achieve the desired yield of alloy elements, the following aspects need to be coordinated.
1. Operating temperature:
Aluminum and aluminum alloy additives are sensitive to temperature, so the temperature of the aluminum liquid needs to be controlled at 750 ± 5 ℃ when adding additives; Otherwise, it will prolong the stay time.
2. Slag removal:
Additives should be added after removing the surface scum to prevent them from being wrapped or floating by the scum.
3. Let it stand still
In order to effectively control the uniformity and stability of the alloy composition, the additive needs to be left to stand for 20 minutes after addition, so that the metal elements can fully react with the aluminum liquid; After standing still, stir to evenly distribute the alloy elements.
4. Joining method and process
Directly adding the additive into the molten pool will automatically sink, and with the gasification reaction of the molten salt, the block agent will float up and down in the aluminum liquid; At this point, a small flame is generated on the surface of the aluminum liquid, and the metal powder particles in the block agent disperse in the aluminum liquid and form aluminum compounds. Until the reaction is complete; The concentration of alloy elements around the bulk agent in the aluminum liquid is very high, and a certain diffusion time or artificial agitation is required to facilitate diffusion.
Usage:
The furnace material is melted and stirred, and samples are taken for analysis; Calculate the amount of additive added based on the analysis results. The formula for calculating the amount of addition is as follows:
Addition amount (kg)=(target value - content of the element before addition) * melt amount/(actual yield 90% * content of the element in the additive 75%)
When the temperature of the aluminum liquid reaches 750 ℃, peel off the floating slag on the surface of the aluminum liquid; Evenly add the additive to the melt and let it stand for 20-30 minutes, then stir for 5 minutes; Let it stand for another 5-10 minutes for sampling and analysis.
Packaging and Storage: 500g/piece, 2kg/bag, 20kg/box, stored in a dry place to avoid moisture.
Shelf life: 6 months
