Aluminum alloy flux

Powder refining agent series

AJ and ZJ series aluminum (zinc) and aluminum (zinc) alloy refining agents are powder particles, which use jet refining method to have a larger contact area with aluminum (zinc) liquid and better gas and slag removal effect. Powdered refining agent is sprayed onto the bottom of aluminum (zinc) liquid (about 100mm from the furnace bottom) using nitrogen or argon (or mixed gas) as a carrier through a powder sprayer, forming a large number of dispersed bubbles (bubbles around 0.1mm) in the aluminum (zinc) melt. During the process of rising, the bubbles fully contact with the aluminum (zinc) melt, bringing the gas and impurities in the aluminum (zinc) liquid to the surface of the aluminum liquid, removing the floating slag, and achieving the purpose of degassing and slag removal.

Dosage: 0.1-0.2% of the weight of aluminum (zinc) liquid, recommended dosage is 0.15% It can also be determined based on the actual situation on site.

Usage: The temperature of the aluminum liquid is raised to 720-740 ℃, and the temperature of the zinc liquid is raised to 415-440 ℃. The powder refining agent is placed in the refining powder spraying machine and sprayed into the aluminum (zinc) liquid through the outlet pipe with a carrier gas. The outlet pipe is pulled back and forth as close as possible to the bottom of the molten pool to fully contact the refining agent with the aluminum (zinc) liquid, achieving the purpose of refining. During the refining operation, the operator can freely control the flow rate of the carrier gas and refining agent through the pressure gauge and the speed of the powder feeder (see the instruction manual of the refining machine). So as to control the rolling degree of aluminum (zinc) liquid and minimize secondary pollution as much as possible.

Storage: Keep in a well ventilated and dry place to prevent moisture

Shelf life: 6 months. If damp, dry at 150 ℃ and continue to use after passing through a sieve.
