AD1-2 Environmental slagging agent
1. Product Features
AD1-2 Environmental slag remover is compounded from environmentally friendly inorganic salts, containing no halogens or toxic or harmful components. It exhibits excellent separation performance for dross on the surface of aluminum melt, resulting in a loose and dry slag layer with a high metal recovery rate. During use, the amount of flue gas is extremely low, and there is no significant irritating odor, meeting the strict environmental standards required for factory use.
II. Applicable Scenarios
Suitable for aluminum alloy melting applications with high environmental protection requirements, including recycled aluminum, casting aluminum alloys, wrought aluminum alloys, etc. Applicable to equipment such as reverberatory furnaces and crucible furnaces.
III. Dosage
The recommended addition amount is 0.1% to 0.2% of the aluminum liquid mass, with a typical value of 0.15%. Adjustments should be made according to the amount of dross.
IV. Usage
With the temperature of the aluminum liquid at 680℃~750℃, evenly sprinkle the slagging agent on the surface of the dross. Gently stir the dross layer for 1~2 minutes until the slag layer becomes dry and loose. Scrape off the surface dry slag. If the effect is not good, add a small amount and repeat the operation.
V. Precautions
Only use it for surface dross, avoiding pressing it into the deep part of the aluminum liquid; take protective measures during operation and ensure good ventilation.

VII. Storage conditions
Store in a well-ventilated and dry place, and strictly prevent moisture.
8. Shelf life
For 12 months, if affected by moisture, it can be used after being dried at 120℃ and sieved.
