AF2-1 sodium free covering agent does not contain sodium element and is specifically designed for high magnesium aluminum alloys. After spreading, a dense protective layer is formed, effectively isolating air and preventing magnesium oxidation and burning.

2、 Applicable scenarios

Suitable for melt protection during melting, insulation, and transportation of high magnesium aluminum alloys (such as 5XXX series).

3、 Dosage

0.2% to 0.5% of the mass of the aluminum liquid is measured by uniformly covering the surface.

4、 Usage method

After melting or scraping the aluminum liquid, evenly spread the covering agent on the surface. No need to stir, naturally form a film. During the insulation period, it can be sprinkled again.

5、 Precautions

Avoid mixing with sodium containing materials; Store moisture resistant.
