AJ1-1 High-efficiency Refining Agent
AJ1-1 aluminum and aluminum alloy refining agent is in powdered granular form, utilizing a jet refining method to ensure a larger contact area with the aluminum liquid, resulting in better degassing and slag removal effects. The powdered refining agent is sprayed into the aluminum liquid through a powder sprayer, using nitrogen or chlorine as a carrier. This creates a large number of dispersed bubbles in the aluminum melt, which, during their upward floating process, fully contact the aluminum melt, carrying the gas and inclusions in the aluminum liquid to the surface, thus achieving the purpose of degassing and slag removal.
1. Application scenario: This product is suitable for melting and refining of recycled aluminum resources and the combination of recycled and primary aluminum resources. During the refining process, the temperature of aluminum slag rises rapidly, and the separation effect between slag and aluminum is good.
2. Dosage: General reference range: 0.1-0.2% of the weight of aluminum liquid, with a recommended dosage of 0.2%. It can also be determined based on the actual situation on site.
3. Usage: After melting solid aluminum, if there is a lot of dross, remove the dross first. When the temperature of the aluminum liquid reaches above 720℃, use a refining powder sprayer to inject the refining agent into the aluminum liquid through an external nitrogen jet. Make sure the outlet pipe is as close to the bottom of the melting pool as possible and drag it back and forth to ensure the refining agent fully contacts the aluminum liquid, achieving the purpose of refining. During the refining operation, the operator can freely control the flow rate of the carrier gas and refining agent through the pressure gauge and powder feeder speed (see the refining device manual). This controls the degree of turbulence in the aluminum liquid, minimizing secondary pollution. After the refining agent is sprayed, remove the dross and allow it to stand before proceeding with casting operations. If a large amount of scrap material is added, the above refining process can be repeated to ensure the refining quality of the aluminum melt.

Storage: Keep in a ventilated and dry place, strictly preventing moisture
Shelf life: 6 months. If it becomes damp, it can be dried at 150℃ and reused after passing through a sieve.
