AKJ1 particle refining agent
1、 Product Features
KJ1 is a granular refining agent for aluminum and aluminum alloys, using an environmentally friendly formula that does not contain toxic or harmful ingredients. The particle shape is regular and the flowability is good, suitable for jet refining process. Inject aluminum melt under the action of inert gas (nitrogen or argon) carrier to form dispersed bubbles, efficiently adsorb hydrogen and oxide inclusions in the melt, and achieve degassing and slag removal. The product has low smoke volume and no obvious irritating odor during use.
2、 Applicable scenarios
Suitable for smelting and refining ordinary recycled aluminum, cast aluminum alloys, and partially deformed aluminum alloys. Under conventional degassing and slag removal requirements, it can meet the refining needs of most industrial aluminum alloys.
3、 Dosage
The recommended addition amount is 0.1% to 0.2% (mass fraction) of the aluminum liquid. The general recommendation is to take 0.15%. The specific dosage can be adjusted appropriately according to the initial cleanliness of the melt, the proportion of waste materials, and the target quality requirements.
4、 Usage method
After the solid aluminum material is completely melted, if there is a lot of floating slag on the surface, mechanical scraping should be carried out first.
Start refining operation when the temperature of the aluminum liquid reaches 710 ℃~740 ℃. Load AKJ1 particle refining agent into the refining powder sprayer and connect it with dry nitrogen or argon gas as the carrier gas. The outlet of the jet tube should be close to the bottom of the melt pool and move slowly back and forth to evenly disperse the particle refining agent in the melt. By adjusting the pressure of the carrier gas and the speed of the powder feeder, the rate of refining agent addition and the degree of aluminum liquid rolling can be controlled to avoid secondary oxidation caused by severe rolling. After the refining agent is sprayed, let it stand for 5-10 minutes. After the bubbles and inclusions float up, remove the surface floating slag, and then proceed with the casting operation. If the quality of the melt is high or the proportion of waste is large, it can be refined again.

6、 Storage conditions
Store in a well ventilated and dry place to prevent moisture. Avoid mixing with acid, alkali, and damp substances.
7、 Shelf life
12 months in an unopened state. If the product gets damp and clumps, it can be dried and sieved at 120 ℃ to 150 ℃ before continuing to be used.
