Aluminum-rare earth alloy
1. Product Features
Aluminum rare earth alloy master alloy (product code AlRE), containing mixed rare earth elements. Rare earths can refine grain size, purify the melt, and improve high-temperature performance and oxidation resistance. With aluminum as the matrix, the rare earths are evenly distributed.
II. Applicable Scenarios
It is suitable for various aluminum alloys, especially those with requirements for high-temperature performance and grain size, such as aviation aluminum materials, heat-resistant aluminum alloys, wire and cable, etc.
III. Dosage
The recommended addition amount is 0.1% to 0.5% of the aluminum liquid mass, calculated specifically based on the target rare earth content. For conventional refinement treatment, the addition amount is 0.2% to 0.3%.
IV. Usage
1. The temperature of the aluminum liquid is 720℃~750℃.
2. After slagging, put the aluminum-rare earth alloy block into the melt and stir thoroughly.
3. The dissolution time is about 10 minutes.
4. Allow it to sit and remove slag before casting.
V. Precautions
Rare earths are prone to oxidation, so it is not advisable to keep them at high temperatures for extended periods after addition; they should be stored in a dry environment.

Store in a ventilated and dry place, and strictly prevent moisture.
