Particle refining agent AKJ
The AKJ series aluminum and aluminum alloy refining agents are granular refining agents that employ the jet refining method, providing a larger contact area with the aluminum liquid and achieving better degassing and slag removal effects. The granular refining agents are sprayed into the bottom of the aluminum liquid (approximately 100mm from the furnace bottom) using nitrogen or argon (or a mixed gas) as a carrier through a powder sprayer. This creates a large number of dispersed bubbles (approximately 0.1mm in size) in the aluminum melt. As the bubbles rise, they fully contact the aluminum melt, carrying the gas and inclusions in the aluminum liquid to the surface. The dross is skimmed off, achieving the purpose of degassing and slag removal.
Characteristics of granular refining agent: When transporting materials, it produces little dust and poses no environmental pollution; during spray refining, it does not clog the pipeline. However, its cost is relatively high.
Dosage: 0.1-0.2% of the weight of aluminum (zinc) liquid, with a recommended dosage of 0.15%. It can also be determined based on the actual situation on site.
Usage: Once the temperature of the aluminum liquid reaches 720-740℃, place the granular refining agent into the refining powder sprayer. Spray the agent into the aluminum liquid through the carrier gas via the outlet pipe, ensuring that the outlet pipe mouth is as close to the bottom of the molten pool as possible. Drag the outlet pipe back and forth to allow the refining agent to fully contact the aluminum liquid, thus achieving the purpose of refining. During the refining operation, the operator can freely control the flow rates of the carrier gas and refining agent through the pressure gauge and the number of revolutions of the powder feeder (see the refiner's manual). This controls the degree of turbulence in the aluminum liquid, minimizing secondary pollution as much as possible.
Packaging: 2Kg/bag, 20Kg/box
Storage: Keep in a ventilated and dry place, strictly preventing moisture
Shelf life: 6 months. If it gets wet, it can be dried at 150℃ and reused after passing through a sieve.
